I love Ari’s voice and the way he says things.
Sáenz’s writing is beautiful because it’s so simple and to the point. When someone says an author’s writing is “beautiful,” the writing is often flowery (not necessarily a bad thing) or intricate.
Even as an adult reading this, I could remember exactly how it felt to be a teenager, and I would have loved to have had this book to read back then. There is so much in this book for teenagers to relate to, no matter what they might be struggling with in their own lives.
