WHY THE F*** did Justin have to die? There were soooooo many other people that could've taken his place. Thirdly, what is up with this book being all over the place? One minute we are one place and then two weeks pass by and you get confused and then a couple days pass by and you start to question what's going on and asking so many questions about what happened also had way to many WTF moments it was ridiculous.ĭamian I actually enjoyed, even though at times, I wanted to strangle him but who doesn't want to to that to every broody, OTT, possessive alphahole? I actually felt like he deserved better than Jenna, he needs someone better than Jenna and someone who would actually help him through his trauma not cause more.Īlso. She leaves one terrible relationship for another within a day times. Secondly, Jenna was extremely naive and gullible to the point it was exhausting, annoying, and frustrating. First and foremost why so much competition on whose had the worst trauma and abuse? That was completely unnecessary and stupid.
Okay, I almost DNF'ed this book, but I pushed through because I hate DNFing a book. I haven't one stared a book in awhile and that means a lot, I normally never one star a book unless it's completely god awful. If you happen to decide to read this book you should read why the author was Inspired to write this novel I will definitely look at some more of Kathy Lockhart’s books
I might not like how Jenna’s friend (Zoey) was so black or white when she found out what happen to Jenna! But you’ll just fall in love with Justin and all his sacrifices & how fiercely protected he is of his younger sister The things that I did like was, From the first sentence to the very end this book holds you captive. Jenna life felt like it was out-of-control & her entire life is imploding,Her fairy tale had come crashing down. After the tragic death of Jenna’s older sister and living in her shadows for so long, Jenna felt the need to escape the small town she left as soon as she could, just like her older brother Justin didĤ-hour drive from the small town in Illinois where she used to live, Jenna wanted to start new chapter in her life in new city located in downtown Chicagoįor the last eight months she's lived in beautiful blissed with her perfect job and perfect boyfriend until one day suddenly Everything Has Changed.
